Birth Support Circle
Gita Class for Children
Birth Support Circle is an intimate group dedicated to building a community of like-minded women who want to nourish and be nourished on all levels during pregnancy and after childbirth. These gatherings facilitate connection between pregnant and postpartum mamas along the journey of motherhood. This group is open to women who choose assisted or unassisted home birth. We meet in person to bond with one another, ask for needed support, and share in joyous times. We share or read inspiring, empowering, uplifting, educational content and helpful information in response to questions and concerns brought up by the group members.
We meet in person weekly and discuss topics such as:
-
The power of positive thinking during pregnancy
-
Birthing without fear
-
Connecting with your baby in the womb
-
Gestation birth and early bonding
-
The world of the womb and pre and perinatal time of babys’ life
-
How thoughts impact your baby during pregnancy
-
Conscious pregnancy and parenting through emotional awareness
-
The power of affirmations
-
Babies remember their journey in the womb and birth
-
The psychic link between mother and baby
-
Spiritual dimensions of your babies life before birth
The pregnancy and birth portal can be healing, empowering, and transformative in many different levels. In the circle, we will dive into the depths of what is moving and changing within us on all levels and explore these changes together. The first half hour will be for making tea, snacking, and chatting, and we will open the circle officially at 11:30. The goal of these circles is that after each session members feel empowered, supported, and closer to their Divine purpose.
Items to bring: An item that is sacred to you for your pregnancy altar which reminds you of your power and a snack for yourself or to share (optional).
Bhagavad Gita class is an opportunity for children and parents in our community to gather together and discuss the themes of one of the most important and practical spiritual texts of Hinduism. Our goal is to help parents and children grasp the lessons of the Gita as they apply to our daily lives through stories, personal sharing, and artistic expression. We will also guide children in the practice of spiritual singing, chanting, and meditation as tools for building self-awareness and well-being. Klea teaches this class together with her husband, Dr. Arjun Suri.

A light lies at the end of even the longest tunnel and sometimes you may even find some windows along the way.
Weeping may endure for the night,
but joy cometh in the morning.

will find new strengths.
They will fly high on wings like eagles.
